I was meant to be home at around 5pm yesterday. Instead I got home at around 11:30pm. Why? Terrible delayysss. I go to check in at the airport to be told my plane has been delayed from 3:15 to 7:50. You can imagine my delight. Then we get a text saying it’s delayed til 10:15, so we go ask and they say it’s a mistake, thank god. I was literally at the airport since 11am and didn’t get on a plane until 8pm that night. And then even when we did get on a plane, they were like hey, since we haven’t delayed them enough, let’s make them sit around for an hour while we don’t move for no good reason. So yeap, didn’t get home until late.

Sydney was good. My Nan was abit sick most of the time which sucked, but not her fault. I will now list what I remember doing

• seeing my cousins, aunt and uncle
• reading & sleeping alot during the day
• talking to Laura & Renee (3way call) using VOIP
• eating the best mashed potatoes
• eating the best fried rice with tofu
• seeing Nan’s friend grandson, Brayden
• talking to Brayden using VOIP
• seeing the beach on the way to the train station

So although I’m not that much of a fan of it I do understand the logic behind making Situations full of hot girls that the guys stare at. The lyrics of the song are highly sexual and it makes sense. The clip was highly popular and had over a million views on Youtube. Clip

After that the lead singer got chucked out due to a drug addiction, getting thrown in jail, etc etc. The first single from the album with the new lead singer was The Flood, which, let’s be honest, is the only really decent song from their new album. Anyway, the clip is pretty much just them playing while it’s raining outside. It’s not genius, but it’s not bad either. Clip

Another song from their most recent album is 10 Miles Wide which, as far as I can tell, is the average “my life sucks” whiny emo song. Yet the whole video is sexy girls dancing around them on a plane while they gawk. As I said before, Situations actually had a point for the girls, I can’t see any for 10 Miles Wide. Clip

So I’m typing this into the AIM ‘Tumblr Bot’ because my internet is so slow (used up all our downloads) Tumblr won’t load. Tomorrow I have to pack for Sydney and go to the bookstore and find a new book. I leave on Wednesday and come on the 8th. I don’t really know what I’m going to do there, but my nan lives there and the flights were cheap. I’m kind of bored right now…
